Church Loans & Investments Trust ® is a REIT formed in 1959 headquartered in Amarillo, TX. The Trust provides interim and permanent real estate financing primarily for churches. As a REIT, the Company must engage in real estate related transactions and pay out at least 90% of its net earnings to shareholders. The Company does not pay Federal Income Tax on the earnings paid to shareholders. The Company's shares are not listed on any public stock exchange. Buyers and sellers contact each other directly and then notify the Company to act as transfer agent for the shares to be traded.
